This Sunday, June 19th, is significant in our parish. It is the solemnity of Corpus Christi (the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ); it is Father’s Day (a day when we draw upon the image of St. Joseph as our model for fatherhood and devotion to the family), and it is the day of the Juneteenth celebration (a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States).
