Sarah’s journey in the Old Testament is a profound testimony to the transformative power of faith and patience in God's promises. Married to Abraham, she lived through years of waiting, wondering if the promise God made to her husband—that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars—would ever include her. Sarah was already advanced in age, well past the years of childbearing, yet she was called to trust in a promise that seemed impossible.

When God told Abraham that they would have a son, Sarah laughed to herself, thinking, “After I am worn out, and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?” (Genesis 18:12).
